Intercontinental Trophy Cup Race at Nola Motorsports Park

The #109 Gear Tie Porsche Cayman made its way to Nola Motorsports Park for Round 4 of the Intercontinental Trophy Cup series.  The weekend proved to be a challenge for all drivers participating in two sprint races and a four hour enduro…in 95 degree weather.

Mike Strommen and co-driver Stephen Simpson won 1st place in GTP class in the Enduro race after Martinson and co-driver Dan Clarke exited the race with a mechanical problem.  “Ya, we got lucky…and we know it” said Strommen.

Next up for Martinson is the PCA Club Race at Brainerd International Speedway on Sept 27-28.
