2014 PCA Club Race at Road America

Most of the best drivers in “E” Class from across the country showed up for a great race weekend with PCA at Road America.  I was able to sign up both my ’87 Porsche 911 Carrera and ’05 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup car for the event.  It would be my first race in the Accumoto built ’87 Porsche 911 with the Tag Heur / Gear Tie livery.  After a 6th place finish in race 1, I was able to move up a spot into 5th in the second race.  I have a lot to learn about driving this car.

In the ’05 Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Car, I finished 2nd place in both Race 1 and Race 2 behind PCA National Champion, Jim Leslie.  Overall, it was really fun jumping between two very different cars all weekend…and very challenging.

Thanks to the Accumoto team for keeping the car in safe condition all weekend. They did a great job.

Don’t forget to go out and buy some Gear Ties!!! Gear Ties are made in the USA and provide over 70 jobs for American workers. Thank you for your support!!
